Prepare the Right Tools: Ensure you have quality jumper cables and another car with a working battery.

Position the Cars: Park the cars close enough so the cables can reach but do not let them touch. Turn off both cars.

Connect the Cables: Attach one red clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery and the other red to the positive terminal of the working battery. Then, connect one black clamp to the working battery's negative terminal and the other black clamp to an unpainted metal surface on the car with the dead battery.

Start the Working Car: Let it run for a few minutes to charge the dead battery.

Start the Car with the Dead Battery: If it starts, let it run to recharge the battery.

Safely Remove the Cables: Remove them in reverse order, starting with the black clamp on the unpainted metal surface.
