The first step you would have to do is take an adult online course. It will teach you all the rules and the signs on the road, and will include a written test after the course completion to receive a certificate to obtain the permit.
After receiving the certificate, you would have to take it to the DPS to obtain the learner’s permit. Documents that you need to take to the DPS are: Birth certificate, ID or Passport, Social Security Card, Proof of Residency, and the online course certificate.
Once you acquire the permit, you can sign up for driving lessons, and be able to do the driving test right after with our partnered driving schools.
