Once you have completed your online course and acquired your permit from the DPS, you can take your Road Test with our partnered third-party testing driving schools the same day to avoid the long wait at DPS.
Requirements for your driving test are:

Learners Permit
Unexpired Impact Texas Drivers Video Certificate (expires after 90 days from the issue date). You must watch the Teen Impact Drivers Ed Video if you have obtained your permit while under 18 years old.
When you pass your road test, the driving school will provide you with your test results in a sealed envelope. You would then need to submit the envelope and your permit at the DPS to receive your driver's License.
