Begin by signing up online for this Texas driving course designed for teens. Work through the 32-hour program at your own pace, on your schedule, and from any location that suits you. After completing the instructor-led driver’s education course, you’ll have the convenience of taking the official state learner’s permit exam directly within the app, avoiding the need to take it at the DPS. This course is fully approved for use in Texas and is accessible on iOS, Android, and web platforms.
After completing this online driving course in Texas, you will receive a ‘Certification of Completion’ which you need to take along with valid identification proof to your nearby Texas DPS. There you will need to take an eye exam and pick up the learner permit.
After that, you will be required to complete 14 hours of training at a driver’s school and 30 hours of driving practice with a licensed adult over the age of 21. With the Online Teen Drivers ED- Instructor Taught course, you can choose your own driving instructor.
