The adult online 6 hour course certificate of completion is only applicable for students 18 years of age or older. However, you will be able to register and start the course if you are 17 years old, but you must finish the course when you turn 18 years old. Only then, your certificate of completion will be acceptable to be used to obtain the learners permit.
If you are not able to wait until you turn 18 years old to receive the certificate to acquire the permit, you will be able to start the Teen online course instead. It is for ages 15-17 years old. The Teen online course is 32 hours long, but after the first 6 hours you will be able to take the written test, and receive a certificate of completion after passing. After completing the whole 32 hour online course, you will receive another certificate to be used for your driving test to acquire the license.
