If you are 25 years of age or older, you will be able to take your written test at the DPS for your permit or road test without taking the Adult Online Course.
However, you would have to make an appointment with the DPS for your written test, and their appointments are booked for up to 2-3 months.
Another option is to take the Adult Online Course that includes the written test upon course completion, you will receive your certificate of completion after passing, then you can simply walk in the morning to the DPS with your Birth Certificate, Passport, or ID, Social Security Card, Proof Of Residency, and Online Course Certificate Of Completion to acquire your learners permit. Then you can go to our partnered driving schools for your same-day road test.
